Mary L. Durika

1926 - 2025

Mary L. Durika, 99, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, in Loyalhanna Senior Suites. She was born Feb. 28, 1926, in New Alexandria, a daughter of the late Gomer and Mabel (Shearer) Coffman. Mary was a member of the Latrobe United Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Derry Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and a deacon, and a former member of the Irwin Presbyterian Church. She also served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Bank and Meals on Wheels. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Steve J. Durika; and two sisters, Iona Caletri and Lola Graham. She is survived by four children, Connie Pavlik (John), Rev. Ronald Durika (Debra), Rhonda Johnson (Robert), and Kerry Durika (Sally); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, JoAnn Brinker; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with her son, the Rev. Ronald Durika, presiding. Private entombment will be in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
