Melanie Radovitch-Viegas Obituary

Melanie Radovitch-Viegas, 43, of Vandergrift, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2014. She was born Nov. 27, 1971, in Pittsburgh, to Maxine and Alex Radovitch. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Mark Viegas, of Vandergrift; her loving children, Christopher Hoover, of Apollo, Amanda (Sage) Hoover, of Harwick, Stephanie (A.J.) Hoover, of Export, Tyler Hoover, of Turtle Creek, and Alex Hoover, of Arnold; and stepdaughter, Tamara Viegas, of New Kensington; grandchildren, Damien DeSabetino, Dylan Hoover, and Jauslynn Hudepohl; siblings, Karen (Clair) Faith, of Cheswick, Robin Lee (James) Kralik, of Springdale, Alex "Butchie" (Tracy) Radovitch, of Cheswick, Dennis (Lyn) Radovitch, of Cheswick, Shawn Michael Barr, of New Kensington, and Jamie Lee Barr, of New Kensington; and a wide variety of friends and family. She is also survived by her pets, Zeus, Shiloh, Winnie, Mia, Alley, Mina and Boo Boo. She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Radovitch. Melanie loved her family and friends very much, especially her children, which she would do anything for. She greatly enjoyed cooking, night life with her friends and family and rocking out at concerts. She was a very loving person and would do anything for anyone; she had a heart of gold. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park, Cheswick. Following the burial, the family would like to invite everyone to Clyde and Patti's Lounge in Cheswick on the top floor for food and drinks.
