Mildred G. Olinger

Mildred G. "Millie" (Leard) Olinger, 93, of Lower Burrell, died Thursday Dec. 20, 2018. She was born in Ford City, daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Baker) Leard. Mildred is survived by her sons, Robert Olinger, with whom she lived, of Lower Burrell, and Douglas (Marie) Olinger, of Lower Burrell; also survived by her beloved granddaughters, Hannah Olinger, of Lower Burrell, and Nicole Olinger, of Disney World, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Monica Olinger, of Hickory, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a real estate agent for many years in the local area. She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Olinger; her son, Gary Olinger; and brothers, Earl Leard and Harold Leard.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday only, Dec. 24, 2018, at the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME INC., Robert P. Karish, supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068, 724-335-6500. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
