Pearl Mosley Obituary

Pearl E. Mosley, 89, of Tarentum, died 11 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2003) in Tandem Health Care, Indiana Township.

Born May 29, 1913, in Green Township, she lived in Fawn before residing 26 years in Tarentum. Mrs. Mosley worked as a companion with elderly patients and at Head Start in Harrison for a number of years. She enjoyed homemaking. Survivors include two sons, Richard W. (Sherry) Mosley of Cowansville and Thomas (Margaret) Mosley of Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Donna J. McGraw of Fawn; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Martha Glaister of Brackenridge, Dorothy Roberts of Butler, Mrs. Sara (Frank) Batistta of Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Jean (Bertrum) Smith of Lexington, Ky. Among her surviving grandchildren is Mrs. Jacquelyn (Kent) James, her caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Mosley in 1965; her parents, Wilbur and Margaret Gibson Fox; a brother, Hughie Fox; and a sister, Anna Mae Lesser. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 10th Ave. at Corbet St., Tarentum, where services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. John Gehring-Anders, pastor of Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville.
