Philip J. Eckhardt, 80, of Harrison City, died on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 26, 1945, in Pittsburgh, to the late Lawrence and Mary (Zollner) Eckhardt. Phil grew up in Troy Hill, graduated from North Catholic High School, served in the United States Air Force, traveled the world as a sales manager for Mine Safety Appliances, and was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Eckhardt. He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Phil is survived by his beloved spouse of nearly 49 years, Marie (Lomicka) Eckhardt; children, Kathy (Brandon) Linden, Mark (Renee) Eckhardt, and Kevin Eckhardt; grandchildren, Benson and Kendall Linden, and Finley and Harper Eckhardt; niece and goddaughter, Andrea Page; lifelong friend, Alan Smith; and beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, as well as from 9 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, PA, with Fr. Daniel Iletogbe officiating.
