Polly Ann Kennedy, 74, of Indianola, Indiana Township, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, in UPMC St. Margaret, Aspinwall. She was born Nov. 2, 1935, in Oakmont, to the late Albert and Mary (Yates) Mumaw, and had lived in Indianola since 1944. A retired assembler for Medrad in Indianola for 10 years, she was a member of the Indianola United Presbyterian Church, in Indianola. Survivors include two sons, David (Terri) Kennedy, of Curtisville, and Hartley (Michaela) Kennedy, of Leechburg; daughter, Libby Jo (Mark) Smith, of Rural Ridge; three grandchildren, Monica, David and Sam; one great-grandson, Caden; sister, Elizabeth Donahey, of Indianola; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Kennedy; parents; son, Staff Sergent Lowell Sherman Kennedy; and brother, Hartley Mumaw. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Cheswick at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev.
