Roger J. Hansotte, 95, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born May 27, 1926, in Butler, he was the son of George Hansotte and Marie Lhote Hansotte. Roger served in the Army during World War II in Europe and also served in Korea. Roger worked as a chemical engineer for Blawnox Engineering/Dravo. He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, the American Society of Chemical Engineers and the VFW. Roger and Marge traveled extensively. He enjoyed studying World War II history, golfing and tennis. Surviving are wife, Margaret Krisiak Hansotte; his sister, Elaine Ludwiczak, of Natrona Heights; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Georgette Gulotta. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, with Father Mike Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
