Adella E. Welfringer

Adella E. Welfringer Adella passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009, surrounded by family. She was born to Daniel and Katherine Radke June 20th, 1919 in Tacoma, where she lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband (Marcian) of 65 years. She will be joining her parents Daniel and Katherine, her brothers Eddy Tomal and Henry Radke, sisters Doris Gerritz and Eleanor Wixon. Mom is survived by her four children, Brian (Miki), Ricky (Amy), Marcey (Spud) and Mark (Jeannie), also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She graduated from Lincoln High school, worked briefly as a stenographer and married "Curly" August 31, 1941. She then settled into homemaking and motherhood. She loved to read, shop, and work in her garden. The family would like to thank Roo-Lan Heathcare Center in Lacey for helping her through these last difficult months. Memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 5930 Mullen RD SE in Lacey, WA at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 19th 2009. Reception to follow at the home of son Mark. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Thurston or Pierce Counties or American Cancer Society.
