Allison Ames

Allison Ames Passed away Thursday, February 9, 2006. Cancer never diminished her grace, faith, sense of humor or love for her family and friends. Allison was born November 22, 1963. She grew up in Fircrest, WA., attended Wilson High School. She graduated from Washington State University where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. After graduation she worked in the insurance industry. Allison married Steven Ames July 16, 1988 and became stepmother to Nicole. On June 23, 1992, Allison gave birth to Jack Steven Ames, who always remained the joy of her life. In October 2001, they moved to Colorado Springs where they acquired an amazing and loving circle of friends. Allison enjoyed many hours volunteering at Colorado Springs Christian School. Allison is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Steven, beloved son Jack, step-daughter Nicole Lackie; parents Bill and Vonnie Cowan of Fircrest, sister Erin Byrne and family John, Kellan and Brendan. A Celebration of Allison's Life will be held at the Steilacoom Community Center, 2301 Worthington Street, Steilacoom on March 12, 2006 at 2:00 PM.
