ANN MARIE ROME

Ann Marie Rome Ann Marie Rome, born May 7, 1960 in Seattle, WA, died June 6, 2014 at her home in Lakewood. Ann Marie grew up in Lakewood; she attended St. Frances Cabrini, Bellarmine, and Clover Park. Ann Marie also studied at the University of Maryland while living in Greece for two years. She was a fun-loving woman and world traveler. A lover of the finer things in life, she was the center of attention; she lit up a room as a master storyteller. Ann Marie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining and hosting wonderful parties. She was an entrepreneur, a decorator, a recruiter, a sales rep., and the matriarch of her family. Ann Marie married David Rome on November 18, 1989, and together they resided in the north end of Tacoma until returning to Lakewood three years ago. According to her family, there wasn't an alley in the north end that she hadn't driven through or explored. In addition to David, she is survived by three sons, Matthew, Andrew (Julia), and Joseph Rome, and her sister, Mary Eileen Blair. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Moser and Ann Adele Mallon. Graveside services will be held TODAY, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, Noon, at Home of Peace Cemetery.
