My family moved next door to Joe and Elaine Rogers back in 1979. I was only 9 years old at the time. Growing up next to Mrs Rogers was an honor. She was a lady full of grace and love. I always enjoyed visiting with her over the years. She will be greatly missed

Aunt Elaine was a special lady and she will be missed. Of all the Aunts, she was one of my very favorites. I am grateful I had the opportunity to see her at the 2015 Alvey Family Reunion, and just wish I had been able to see her one more time. I know she is reunited with Uncle Joe, Mike, and the rest of the family. My deepest condolences for Joey and Ward and their families, all my love, Lynda.
