I am the manager of the apartments where Barbara lived and I can tell you she is still missed by many people. I miss how she would drive by the office and even if she couldn't see if anyone was looking, she would stick her arm iut the window and give a little wave. She always had a hug for anyone that needed it. I sure do miss her. Lori Petty

Barbara was just the dearest lady. She used to do pick-ups for our food bank (NW Tacoma FISH) on a weekly basis for a number of years. She was always ready for a big, long hug, offering a warm smile and positive words. I hadn't seen or heard from Barbara for a couple of years since she had to step down from volunteering with us, but she would regularly come to mind and bring a smile to my face-remembering her loving nature, kind personality and generous spirit. Sending well wishes and love-filled condolences to Barb's family and friends. I know she will be truly missed.

Barbara was a very good and dear friend. I knew her and her late husband Bob since my High School days. Now she's at peace and can join her beloved Bob. I will miss you Barb.
