Ron and I still think of Beal from time to time. He was a big part of our lives when Ron and I were newlyweds. We ate many meals at his house prior to his marriage to Jan. Beal would buy the steaks and I would cook them. I was a bit shy back then and he always made me feel at ease. He would often tell Ron that he was lucky to have me as his wife. I looked up to him and later to Jan as well.

Jan I just found out about Beal I can't tell you what Beals passing means to me he was my friend and best man at Terri's and mine wedding I will miss him greatly. Mike Burr

My condolences to you Jan and your family for your loss of Beal. I have always appreciated Beal for his thoughtfulness and kindness he showed me. I moved to Auburn in my sophomore. I was trying to find my way around the school, on my first day, and I was feeling like a lost orphan in that silly, green beanie hat. Beal saw me and decided I needed help! He took me around to all of my classes and introduced me to a few of my classmates. I have always been grateful to him for taking the time out of his day to help a newcomer at Auburn High School.

I have known Beal for most of my life and I am very saddened by his passing, recently he went out of his way to spend time with my dad, who has Altzheimer's. My dad worked with Beal and with Glenn and has fond memories of them both despite his memory loss. Beal will be missed by many.

I cried when I learned that Beal had left this Earth. He was a great person. I have many wonderful memories of him beginning back when I first met him in 1968--I was 17. He always called me by my nickname, Millie even though others had long forgotten this name. It made me smile.

My Condolences to Beal's family for their loss. I remember playing Junior and Senior High school basketball with Beal, and not only what a great player he was but what a great team mate and friend as well.
May his soul rest in peace and the perpetual light shine upon him.

I was a morbidly shy teenager, yet Beal would always say hello even tho I could not respond except for a mumble or two. He was just always 'there'.
Not in a personal way for me but as a beacon to me that I could 'hang on' and once in the real world I would meet other Beal Rockey's----and see that not all people were mean or cold. Beal was a standard to others I noticed in the other shared words from my classmates. A truly nice man of the highest order. Thank you Beal.
