Daniel Fain Obituary
February 5, 1947 - May 2, 2023
Tacoma, Washington - Daniel (Chick) joined his savior, Jesus Christ, on May 2nd, 2023, at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in San Pedro , CA. but Tacoma was his home, for over 74 years.
Dan proudly served in the US Army and was Vietnam Veteran.
He was a machinist, master rigger and heavy equipment operator, to name a few of his skills. He was employed at Simpson paper company in Tacoma for over 38 years, retiring in 2009.
He is survived by his Daughter Mimi Ditusa, Grand Daughter Meg, and Great Grandson Jesse.
Son, Josh Fain (Michelle), Grandson Devin and Grand Daughters Brinkley and Aucklin.
Sister, Linda Sweet, Brother, Terry Fain and Brother Gary Trujillo.
He will be missed dearly by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, loyal friends and greatly, by his dogs, Shadow and Squirt.
Dan was easy going, smart, generous, loving and kind. He had a passion for playing music, was an amazing cook, loved eclectic vintage/antique collectibles, technology and photography.
His family, friends and pets, meant the world to him.
A memorial will be held at Fircrest Rec Center, on July 15th, 2023 at 5:30 pm.

I remember Dan from Wilson high school. Then working with him at the Simpson Tacoma mill. Always had a smile on his face and was great working with him. He will be missed.
