Donna Ruthardt Obituary

Donna Ruthardt
August 9, 1941 - March 11, 2022
Beaverton, Oregon - Donna Myrtle Michaelson Ruthardt passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1941 in Tacoma, WA. She was 80 years old.
Donna lived 79 years of her life in University Place, WA close to her beloved Puget Sound. She was a seeker of beauty and reveled in living near both the beach and within view of Mount Rainier.
She was constantly creating. In addition to loving to write, paint and bake amazing desserts, she was a talented seamstress; making clothes for her children and grandchildren when they were young.
For almost 40 years, she was a teacher in the University Place School District. Teaching, guiding and caring for children was her passion.
For the last year and half of her life, she and her husband, Richard, lived in Beaverton, OR; wishing to be closer to their children and grandchildren who all live in Oregon.
Donna is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard; her daughter, Kimberly Ruthardt Knowles (Keith) of Beaverton, OR; her son, Jeff Ruthardt of Bend, OR and grandchildren: Lilla, Jacob, Kasey, Kylor and Ian. She will also be missed by her siblings, Harold (Mike) Michaelson, Dorothy Washam, Patricia Wuestney, and Caroline Koth as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
