Edith Fijalka Obituary

Edith E. Bailey/Fijalka Edith E. Fijalka, born in Polson, Montana in 1922, died Monday, November 6, 2006 in Tacoma. She is preceded in death by her two husbands, DeWillis Bailey and Edward Fijalka, and her son Walter Bailey. Edith leaves behind her loving children, Martin (Vicki) Bailey of Claude, Texas, Lloyd (Beverly) Bailey of Mineral, Helen Sorensen of Sumner, Nancy (John) Rodriquez of Tacoma, and daughter-in-law Karen Bailey of Tacoma, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mom, Grandma, Nana, Friend -names for you that mean love to us. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 11, 2006 at New Tacoma Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, November 10th from noon-7pm. A Celebration of Edith's Life will follow Saturday's service at King Oscar Convention Center, 8820 S. Hosmer, Tacoma, Bldg. 2, in the Sunrise Room. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Edith with such tender hands at Franciscan Hospice House, and Life Care of Federal Way.

We wish we could have been there...you guys mean the world to us...We are sorry for the loss...I do have to say though Grandma was an exceptional lady, and We loved her dearly....You guys are in our thoughts and prayers....God Bless
