I was very sad to hear of Ernest's passing.I knew Ernest for at least 10 years from our pure fitness days. I always enjoyed our conversations and his kind quiet demeanor. I took Ernest to Camp Muir for his first time and he was like a kid in a candy shop so excited to be there. He really loved taking photos of the beautiful scenery from 10000 ft. We took another hike in the snow earlier this year and he was so happy being in the forest. He really wanted to climb Mt Rainier and was working hard to do that. My condolences to his family. He will be missed by many people.

I'm so sorry you lost our dad. We didn't really know each other, just a nod here and there in cycle class at LA Fitness. He was a hard worker on the bike and always pushed himself. He came across as a very kind man with a lovely smile and way about him. I'm deeply sorry he is not with us any longer. He will me missed. May God Bless your family.

Dad - I miss you so much! I'll miss our phone calls, I miss your hugs... I was in your garage on Saturday and smelled your old black Coke jacket that was hanging on the wall. Smells just like you.
There's so much that I planned for us to do; going to Hawaii, building model airplanes, tinkering in the garage... just growing old with my dad/buddy. You know how much you meant to me and we left nothing on the table.
Jen and I will continue to make you proud and remember you always. I'm still looking forward to a Jive Turkey and I'll see you again.
I love you,
Ern

I remember Ernie as being upbeat and gracious. He seemed to always have this wonderful smile to go along with his bubbly personality. It was a pleasure to know him. I'm sorry the Lord called him home so soon but one day I plan to join him and others in a jubilant celebration in heaven.

Your family is a testament to the good man that Ernest was. Theda raised her son to become a good man and he in turn raised his children to be good people. I was blessed 11 years ago when one of those children became my son-in-law. The world is a better place because Ernest was here.
Grieve as you must, but this too shall pass. Take comfort in the fact that Ernest is in heaven where one day we will all meet again.
God bless all of you.

What I will always treasure is that Ernest was a Stand Up Guy. As my own father would say, "A Good Man". May you enjoy eternal rest and peace in heaven and that your family find peace and comfort in time as they treasure memories of you.

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;" Ecclesiastes
I did not know Ernest, yet the light from his life shines through his son Ernie. May his family and friends take this time to mourn but soon I hope there will be laugher and dance in honor of Ernest's life and the legacy he leaves through his children. God Bless You.
