Hi Dalene & Family,
It's your neighbor Chris.

We are sorry for your loss, Doug and I were just talking how we had just seen Gary outside a couple weeks ago.

Gary was always good for a wave as we drove by and he was always kind even though our tree DUMPED pounds of leaves on your yard, he just smirked and mowed them up.

We will always treasure our Christmas Light Wars...the kid still talk about that.. we would watch each other to see what new items popped up in the yard, then we would go to the store to purchase something bigger & better...and so it went..HA HA HA.
We will NEVER forget the year we went away for Thanksgiving, upon returning we turned down the street and there it was...your house all a GLOW with lights and decorated...in A DAY, we swore he waited until we left that day & so the war began that week & years to come, in great fun! We actually used to get people coming down our street to see yours and our yards each year!

I hope this story brings a smile to yours and Diana's face in thinking of this because we will always remember Gary every Christmas and give the heavens a nod as we do in remembrance of our old neighbor Glen Welde as well.

Our family will hold yours in our prayers and please forgive us for missing the service..we just found out.

Peace & Comfort to you- He gave it a heck of a run, he fought it admirably!

Dalene,
It saddens me each and every time I hear someone else has lost this battle, Gary to me was a very Valiant Man, never to let his hopes & dreams down. He fought with much courage, dignity & self respect. My heart aches more than ever to each and every one of his family members. He will definetly be missed by all.
