Rest in peace, Gene. Condolences to his family.
Gene Lewis pioneered the use of videography in the courtroom in the Puget Sound region in the late 1970s and early '80s, and was one of its mainstays in the years after. Preservation of testimony on video of witnesses who would be unavailable for trial was unknown before his time.
He made a significant contribution to the justice system.
