JAMES COPELAND Obituary

James Russell Copeland James Russell Copeland died peacefully in his sleep at home May 14, 2009. Born October 16, 1937 in Yakima, Wash. to Louise Mae OShaughnessy and Russell Godfrey Copeland, both deceased, James grew up in Burien, Wash. attending St. Frances, White Center and Highland High schools. He spent 18 years in the Navy, attaining the rank of CPO-E-7 and then 17 years as a Civil servant at the Logistic Center at Ft. Lewis. James is survived by his wife Donna, brothers Clint, Pat, Mark (brother Jon, deceased in 2008) and sister Maralie Johnson. James was father to six children Lisa Querido, James Jr. (deceased), Susanne, Maria, David and Michael. He has nine grandchildren. James was also step-father to eight: Kris Baldassin, Leanne Achziger, Michael Buchanan, Wendy Buchanan-Haskell, John, David and Kelly Buchanan and Barbara Knutsen. he has fifteen step-grandchildren. Mass will be held at 11AM at Holy Cross Church on Thursday, May 28, 2009. AEmilitary buriel service will be held later at 2:15 at the Tahoma National Cemetary near Covington 18600 S.E. 240 St. "Street of Heros!"

I was deeply saddened to hear of Jim's death. He was a good man, and he will be missed. May God grant His Peace to Jim's soul, and to all those who mourn his passing.

I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful co-worker who went out of his way to assist the customer and get the job done.
