Katherine Lewis Obituary

Katherine J. Lewis, 96, longtime resident of Tacoma passed away Monday, March 2, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sergeant Otis Lewis. She is survived by her 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sons & daughters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends. Katherine was a member of Allen AME Church for 54 years where she served on the Senior Usher Board and other organizations. She was a devoted mother, woman of faith, dedicated community member, world traveler, sports fanatic and great cook. Her viewing will be Wednesday, March 25th at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood from 12pm - 5pm. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 11:00 am at Allen AME Church in Tacoma. Her interment will be at Mountain View at 1:30pm and the repast immediately following.
