Keith was known to many as a great sprinter. As one Association said: "[he was] one of the finest sprinters to have laced on a pair of track spikes in Pierce County." Although I witnessed him run, and win many races, to me he was more than a sprinter--he was a great and loving big brother. I'm missing him so much. He had such an impact in the family and his loss is being felt big time by us. Keith was precious and he was the wind beneath our wings.

So very sorry for your loss. We will always remember Keith at our custodial meetings as the man with many questions. Always challenging others with questions that others wanted to ask. Thank you Keith for passing on your knowledge to others who couldn't get straight answers. You were an inspiration to many! God hold you in His loving arms and give you peace!

To Keith's family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Keith was a few years older than me. When we were younger we use to race and play football in the park in Salishan. I was playing football with the guys and was bare foot. I cut my foot really bad and Keith brought me home , which the field was in our back yards. I remember him saying to this day" hurry up and stop the bleeding, we need you back out there"! Every now and then the pain from that cut pops into my foot. All I remember is Keith's request. My parents took me to get stitches and I had to wait weeks before I could play again.
Rest in Peace my friend. You will always be remembered for your kind and respectful nature.

My condolences to the family.
I remember watching Keith run track at Lincoln Bowl in the 70's.
When he came to Mason to work in the last few years we would talk about track and our heydays. Great guy, he will be missed.

This is very sad news for me and I am sure the many people who crossed paths with Keith. I was fortunate enough to be Keith's teammate along with Pablo Franco and Billy Hicks when we won the NCAA Mile Relay Championship in 1975 while at the University of Washington. As the number two man on the relay I took the baton from Keith who lead off and put us squarely in contention to win the race. Keith was only a freshman but his talent was ridiculous! I will always remember his quiet confidence and contributions he made to all of his teammates. The picture of our induction into the Husky Hall of Fame in 1988 sits in my office at home. My condolences to the Tinner family and especially his children. Your Dad was a special guy. God Bless.

Keith,
You will dearly be missed by the many Lincoln High School classmates of 1974 that knew you and was part of your life. It was an honor and joy for me to talk with you for about 2 hours at your home prior to our HS 40 yr reunion. Even more so, it was an honor that you were able to grace us with your presence at the reunion in July 2014. I'm sure I can speak for my classmates when I say that we were again thrilled to have you at the Class of 1974 picnic in April 2016 and our last get together in February 18, 2017. I am also honored to know you as a friend. Go with GOD my friend. Love you man.
