Port Angeles, Washington - "The Legend of My Jeremiah Johnson" Ken Christopherson was born in Salt Lake City Utah on December 7 of 1948 to Marshall and Viola Christopherson. At the Age of 3 the family moved to Tacoma Washington. Ken graduated from Lakes High School in 1968.
Ken worked for the City of Tacoma keeping the power flowing to us through storms for 35 years. Upon retiring in 2008 he moved to Port Angeles to continue enjoying the outdoors. Ken loved to fish the Straits and was renown for insisting on "one more drift".
His hunting passions began in Republic Washington in 1971 and was known to be gifted with great hunting skills. He was very strong willed and contributed 150% to all life's tasks.
He will be missed so very much.
Ken will make his last drift on 8-7-22 out of Port Angeles. Later this fall he will walk with the deer and elk in Republic Washington. Ken is survived by his wife of 44 years Linnea, his brother Dar and wife Kathy and his nephew and niece , Kit and Rochelle. Grand children Matt, Jesse and Amanda and 7 great grandchildren.
We would like to post the following note that Ken carried, lived by and hoped for:
"Burn what is left of me and scatter my ashes to the wind to help the flowers grow. If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weakness and all prejudice against my fellow man. Give my soul to God. If by chance you wish to remember me , do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked I will live on forever." Robert N Test
