June 2, 1947 - March 13, 2021
Tacoma, Washington - Lita Adele Nomellini graced the earth on June 2nd of 1947, born a proud first generation Italian-American to Louis and Margie Nomellini of Tacoma. After graduating from Wilson H.S. in 1964, Lita became a professional drummer. She entertained for many years, playing drums and singing including with an all-girl band in Las Vegas where she met Elvis Presley.
Lita later took over the family business, Nomellini Music Studio, and began teaching piano lessons. She considered her students a valuable gift and they brought her great pride and joy.
Lita was a pioneer in both her professional and personal life and brought music, love and laughter to those around her. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents
Louis and Margie Nomellini. She is survived by her sister Marie Markovich Zander (Dennis Zander) nieces Gina Markovich and Margie Markovich Duvall (Mike Duvall) and great nephew and niece Alexander and Arianna. Services will be held at St John of the Woods on April 10. Viewing from 10-11 am, Rosary 10:30 am, Mass at 11am, Calvary Calvary 1pm. Piper-Morley.

My condolences to Lita's friends and family. You were always so wonderful to my Grandmother, Ida. She spoke very highly of you and the Nomellini Family.

in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive
us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against
us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

I took lessons from Lita for 4 years. I was not a stellar student but she was proud of my accomplishments none-the-less and she had the patience of Job. She will be missed.
