Big Bear Lake, California - Marion passed away peacefully at home with her children at her side after a brief illness on September 3rd, 2022.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to "Mountain Health Resource Center" at www.mountainhealthresource.com who took incredible and loving care of Marion with their hospice services.

I had no idea your mother passed away. Marion was such a great friend of my mother Sheila Gosling in Bermuda along with myself. I sent her my annual calendar and it was returned. She was such a wonderful person. Sends big huge condolences from Bermuda. Fiona Hatfield

Marion was truly a remarkable women who lead a fascinating life! I am so glad that I was able to be a small piece in her amazing journey. From chatting with her on the docks of Elliot Bay Marina and cold drinks on the Panacea to discovering her treasure trove of horse racing memorabilia, it was a pleasure to be her friend. Her stories entertained me for hours and her racing tales mesmerized me! Our love of horse racing and race horses made for lots of fun conversations! She was a sensational host and made my visits to Rancho Mirage delightful! I have so many wonderful memories with Marion in the desert and in the PNW! When you were in her company there was always lots of laughter! I will forever be grateful for our precious friendship and will miss it dearly.
