Tacoma, Washington - Mark David Robinson (Robbie) passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2022.
He was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on July 3, 1935 to Mark and Sarah Robinson.
Mark joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1954 and became a Radar Operator. There he met his future wife, Barbara. One of his Proudest moments was becoming an American citizen in June 1995.
He was preceded in death by his sister Eileen. He was husband to Barbara of Tacoma; father of Cheryl (Jim) Batschi of Spanaway; Glenn (Dana) Robinson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Denise (Mark) Sokolowski of Roy; Vicki (Mark) Revord of Snohomish. Grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 17.
Mark retired from Baden Sports. He enjoyed playing, coaching and officiating hockey. He was a goal judge for the Tacoma Rockets and a volunteer firefighter for Parkland Fire Station #6. He also enjoyed fishing, photography, gardening and model railroading.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00am, Garden Chapel, Mountain View Funeral Home.
