Martha Irene Barber Age 74 passed away on 10/02/07 in Puyallup, WA. She was born to Henry and Della Welch in Stuart, Iowa on 10/27/32. She was a housewife who enjoyed people, hiking, gardening, baseball, and her family. She was preceded in death by Dale and Howard Welch and parents, Henry and Della Welch. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alexander J. Barber; children, Alexander J. Barber, Jr., David Allen, Linda Kathleen, and Ted Barber; grandchildren, Shana, Derek Farsworth, Mekenna, Madison Weaver, Nikki Barber, David Joseph Alexander Barber; son-in-law, Dell Weaver; brother, Donald Welch; and daughter-in- law, Deatrice Barber. Visitation will be on Mon. 10/08/07 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Powers Funeral Home, 320 West Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA 98371. The funeral will take place at Powers Funeral Home on Mon. 10/08/07 at 1:00PM, with a graveside service immediately after at Woodbine Cemetery.
