It was such a pleasure getting to know you in Job Corps. Your smile was the first thing I noticed about you!! We had so much fun together. You were always able to make me laugh!!! I will never forget you and hope you RIP.

I remember the good times my sons Jason and Joshua had with Matt in our trailer and when he would spend the night. He was a very loving young man who always had a hug for me when he came to visit. He has now gone on to be with the Lord where he is resting in peace. We miss him deeply but look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven. Out thoughts and prayer are with you during this sorrowful time.

To the Tiller family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your son Matt, although I've never met Matt I have known Jim for years while working for Costco and I know Jim must have had a terrific kid. My prayers go out to your entire family.

Matthew walked the halls of Curtis High School, where I am a teacher. He also spent much time in our home as a good friend of my son, Caleb. Above all, I will remember Matt as a young man who wanted always to be a better version of himself. He was a kind and quiet soul with such a good heart. And yes, he gave great hugs. You were truly one of the good guys. Always there with a smile, to share a hug, or to provide a good laugh. I want to thank you for half of my high school memories and for all of the fun times we had. I hope you have found peace, and are in a better place. My heart breaks for your family and friends but we have to remember, we'll see you again someday.
