Tacoma, Washington - Monica C. Hillstead was born in Tacoma, WA on March 28, 1950 and passed away peacefully on Sep 5, 2024 in Tacoma. Monica graduated from Lincoln HS 1968. Monica had a long career working with different grocery chains. She was a very hard working, independent, loving, friendly woman of her word. Her laugh was very contagious. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Thelma Smith, Brother Gordy Hess, Sister Judy Hess. She is survived by Sister Carol Ganwich, Brother Tom (Candy) Thomas, Fiancé Dennis Bradley, Sister in Law Barbara Hess and many Nieces and Nephews.
Celebration of life will be held on Oct 6th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW 4741 N. Baltimore Tacoma, WA.
