ONA MOLTKE Obituary

Ona Lorraine Moltke Ona passed away peacefully in her sleep June 17th, 2016. Ona was born and raised in Sumner, WA. She was First Lady of Sumner 1993-1998. A very proud member of "the Class of 62". Ona gave back her love of Sumner by volunteering at the Sumner Food bank for over 30 years. She was also the founder of the first free public clothing bank in Sumner. Everyone loved her and she returned it with loving acts of kindness. She loved camping and RVing at the ocean. Ona would eat, with gusto, any and all seafood she could get her hands on. Ona was a loving wife and loyal companion with Bob for 55 years. Her medical issues tried to get in the way and she fought back valiantly. Finally "enough is enough" and she went peacefully to God. Now there is no pain! Ona requested no services. Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Norma Hanson, deeply loved grandparents Larry and Dorothy Berto and daughter-in-law Julie. Survived by husband Bob, son Glenn, grandsons Riley and Quinncy, sister Linda and family. Ona made friends everywhere she went. Her ashes will be spread at places of loved ones and many other special places that Ona and Bob loved to share together. Rest in peace "lil girl".

Ona was my best friend for 61 years. I miss her so much.
There wasn't many days that went by that we didn't talk to each other. She was a sweet and loving lady. I'm grateful that she is out of pain, and resting in peace. We all loved her so much, Pati Kiehlmeier Sutton
