Otto Thomas Fink Otto joined his beloved wife Jacque in heaven December 23, 2015 at their daughter Nan's (Ace) home in Phoenix, AZ. He resided in Kent, WA for 46 years before moving to Arizona in 2014 after Jacque died. Otto was born November 16, 1928 in Fargo, ND and spent his boyhood in Bismarck. His fondest memories were summers spent on his Uncle Frank's farm south of town in Burnstad, ND. The Fink family moved to Tacoma, WA in 1942, where Otto attended and graduated from Bellarmine Prep as their ace halfback in 1948. He was inducted into Bellarmine's Hall of Fame in 1984. He and Jacque met in 1945 and married in 1948, celebrating 64 years together. He retired from Boeing in 1988. Otto was a devout Catholic. He and Jacque were founding members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Covington, WA, and the HOME shelter program for homeless men of South King County. He is survived by brother Patrick (Colin Mackenzie), daughters Julie (Steve) Richter, Mari Dodge, Jeanie (Jay) Baker, and Nan (Ace) Harris, son Michael Fink, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sweetheart Jacque, both parents, brother Bob, sons John, Tom, and infant son Jerome, and granddaughter Katie. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11am, All Saints Catholic Church, 503 3rd Street SW, Puyallup, WA, with reception following at parish gym. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to: Catholic Community Services, Attn: HOME project, 100 23rd Ave. S, Seattle, Wa 98144-5979. Keep praying for us, Daddy.

I am so very sorry for your loss! Otto was such an exceptionally loving person. Looking at family pictures with him and listening to him talk about how much he loved all of you - and especially how much he loved and missed Jacque, are memories that I cherish.

I will miss your sparkling personality, funny jokes, goofy smile, you randomly and awesomely yelling out "what a beautiful day, praise God!" so many times, breaking into song all the time,watching you outside in your yard in Kent with my three year old son trailing behind you...giving him plums to eat off your trees.. giving hugs and looking into my eyes and saying " I love you granddaughter.." And so very much more. I loved most of all that you accepted everyone around you for who they were. Your door was always always open. I will miss you and love you lots. Mark 1:17-18 Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.

My father, Otto T. as I liked to call him embraced this life style without wavering. He was a passionate disciple of Christ.

He was blessed with abundant energy and made sure
that he was available to his family and friends to
just get out and enjoy God's creation!

I will miss your goofy sense of humor Shmartie and will keep singing "The hills are alive with the sound of music", and do my very best to stay on key.
