OWEN JACOT

Owen D. "Spark" Jacot After a long & courageous battle with multiple myeloma, Owen D. "Spark" Jacot was called home to his Savior on June 3, 2009. Born May 2, 1941 in St. Maries, ID to Elie & Anna Jacot, Spark graduated from St. Maries High School & served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He later owned Jacot Carpet & worked 22 years for The Seract Corp. as a carpet & flooring expert, before retiring in 2004. He is survived by his wife Denice; daughters Melissa (Jamey) Metrokas, Wenatchee, Alicia Dammann, Twisp; son Roy Famuliner, Puyallup; granddaughters Megan & Hailey Dammann; brothers Al (JoAnn) Jacot, Gardnerville, NV, Stan (Shirley) Jacot, Portland, OR; sister Annette Erickson, Troy, ID, sister-in-law Cheryl (Stan) Blum, Albany, OR, & several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Kenneth & Alex, & sister Nancy. A graveside service will be held June 10, 2009 at 11 AM at Woodbine Cemetery, 2323 9th St., Puyallup. A celebration of Spark's life will be held on June 29, 2009 at 11 AM at The Lutheran Church of St. Paul in Graham, where he was a member & Director of the Board of Properties.
