Patricia Walton Obituary

Patricia Ann Walton of Meadow Vista, CA, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Patricia, or “Tish,” was born January 11, 1948 in Sacramento, CA to John and Rose Urquhart. She was raised in Rio Linda, CA, and received her B.A. in English from Sacramento State University. She married the love of her life, Michael Walton of Bakersfield, CA, on August 6, 1983 in Fair Oaks, CA. Thereafter, she left the workforce to dedicate her time as a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters, and returned to work at Dawn’s Hallmark in Auburn in 2003 through 2015 when she retired.

Tish enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, volunteering in her daughters’ school classrooms, decorating her house in “shabby chic” theme, thrifting with her sister, and attending or watching any live music event. She loved reading to her grandchildren, doing crafts, and being “pen pals” with them.

Patricia is survived by her husband Michael Walton, her daughters Amy Walton and Christy Westerfeld, son-in-law Nate Westerfeld, sister Laurelle Gatlin, grandchildren Greyson, Reese, and Hendrix, and wonderful lifelong friends.

Tish truly lived a life of Peace and love, as she always wanted, and spread love and kindness everywhere she went. She knew how to make everyone feel special and seen, and her family and friends will forever treasure their relationship with her.
