Hard to believe so many years have already passed. When I was new to Steilacoom HS Pete was really friendly, we used to talk about the aquarium fish we both had and I will always remember his smile and humor. He was soft spoken at times but made a lasting impact on me. After graduation we went our separate ways like so many do but I just wanted to say that Pete is not forgotten.

God must have led me here...just wanted you to know that I have never forgotten Peter. I remember him every time I hear someone doing a search and rescue, I remember him during the blood drive, because their slogan was "For Pete's sake" at Steilacoom High the year following his death. He was a caring, dedicated and humble person. He had a passion for helping people and he is remembered and missed. Laurie Norris SHS teacher 1983 to present.
