Richard was one of the most sincere friends I have ever known. And he was a perfect neighbor. His spiritual and personal example was a great inspiration to me. I will miss him dearly.

I was privileged to know Rich from grade school, through high school and adulthood. He was a good friend to me and my wife and we relished his almost annual visits. We really enjoyed meeting Sue when she came to visit with him; they were a good match. Our thoughts are with the family, children, grandchildren and siblings. I have many happy memories of Rich and they will bring me joy to think about. Jerry and Ann Manke

Dear Andrew and Family,
My name is Heather Stewart and I went through St. Charles with Andrew. I'm so sorry to hear about your father's passing. As a St. Charles kid we were all familiar with each other's parents. I recall the first time I looked at him I actually thought he was a real live giant! (I had an active imagination as a kid.) I remember him as being very kind to me and I always appreciated that. When my mother passed away in 2008 he was very considerate to our family. My father struck up a friendship with him over the last few years and I was always be grateful to him for looking after my dad in his time of need. Your father will be greatly missed.

Our dear Richard was a blessing to everyone he knew. There are no words to express what his friendship meant to us. He was truly a selfless and loving man. Love you to the moon and back, Richard and Judy...
