Brinnon, Washington - Ritchie L. Irish, aged 92, passed away on December 12, 2024, in Brinnon, WA. Born on Christmas Day in 1931, Ritchie was a man whose warmth and generosity filled the lives of those around him much like the holiday itself.
Ritchie was well-loved for his caring nature and zest for life. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished his time crabbing and shrimping, activities that reflected his deep appreciation for nature and adventure. Each winter, he looked forward to traveling to Yuma, Arizona, a tradition that brought him joy and respite. Ritchie spent many fulfilling years in Orting, WA, where he was a beloved figure among many friends.
Ritchie's legacy is carried on by his daughter Kimberlee Reno and her husband Charles, his son Michael Irish, his grandchildren Dustin (and wife Jade) and Kaylee, and his great-grandchildren Austen and Vada. He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 50 years, Jeanette, his brother Dale, and his great-grandson Van.
A memorial service celebrating Ritchie's life will be held in the spring, honoring his memory and the profound impact he had on those he loved. The family invites all who knew him to join in remembering a life well-lived, marked by love, friendship, and a cherished connection with the great outdoors.
