I know it's been fifteen years since Robert has passed away, but I still fondly remember him when I stopped by Hoyt Motors AMC back in late summer of 1981 when I spotted a 1970 AMX sitting on his lot. I swung in and took it out for a test drive. Soon the salesman and I went inside to complete the deal. Out came Robert from his office and introduced himself, and we shook hands to congratulate me on the deal...very nice man. He even remembered that AMX being on his showroom floor new. Even today in 2025 I still have that AMX and still have fond memories of Hoyt Motors AMC and his professionalism.

I have fond memories of Uncle Bob. He always treated me with love, caring and kindness when I was a member of his family (married to his nephew). We had many happy occasions at Gpa & Gma Hoyt's house when all the family gathered. Happy days to always remember. My Son, Jeff, was the only Macdonald boy born in the family. May God Bless Uncle Bob and Aunt Ellen.

My heart is filled with sadness at the news of Great Uncle Bob's passing. I have such wonderful memories of family reunions at his home on the bay. I will always remember his warm smile and happy spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family at this difficult time.

I am so very sad that my Great Uncle Bob has passed away. He was so very sweet, warm, loving, and caring. He was always at the Macdonald/Hoyt Christmas parties every year and was a lot of fun. I saw him this last summer at my Grandma Macdonald's memorial (my Grandma is his sister) in Oregon and he seemed to be doing great; it is so unfortunate that he is now gone too! I know he is in a better place looking down on us all. God Bless Great Uncle Bob, you are loved and missed!

Rob, Cathy, Dan and Families & Donna and Family,

I am sending you our sincere sympathy at the passing of Uncle Bob. Donna and family, I've never met you, but I share your sorrow in the loss of a very special man. I knew Uncle Bob from 1965 through 1984. Bob is the Uncle of my ex-husband, John Macdonald, and our children, Jeff and Polly, and grandson, Cody Macdonald. We used to go out to the Bay and enjoy many family events with Uncle Bob and Aunt Ellen and family. Uncle Bob was always a warm and friendly person, and greeted you with a big smile. He always made you feel good because he was gracious, thoughtful and caring. I've missed seeing him through the years. And who can forget the annual line of family making the circle through the hall at Grandma and Grandpa Hoyt's house in Milton as pictures were being taken? Uncle Bob was always clowing around and making us laugh! Those were happy times.

May God Be with You All as you remember a very sweet and wonderful man.

With Heartfelt Sympathy,

Peggy & Cal Sanders

My kids and I have such great memories of Bob. He and I worked side by side for several years at the Rotary Club's fishing event. How he loved being part of that! My kids will always remember him taking them for their first airplane ride when he lived on the bay. We will miss his warm heart and huge smile. Your family is in our prayers.
