I will keep Robert in my thoughts just as I always have... A warm, smiling, helpful, trustworthy soul. Someone who I truly called friend. Robert always made time for me and was a good listener. I am honored to have known him for the last 15 years (3 companies and 3000 miles) -he influcenced my life in many ways. I am finding it very hard to believe that he is not here to be a friend anymore. He will be in my thoughts... Peace to his family and friends.

Lene and family,
I knew Robert from Attachmate. I was also a systems engineer and so we did the same job. We all shared a close bond and it was quite an adventure. Robert's name was known throughout our organization as a great guy. I wanted to take this opportunity to say that Attachmate and the world was made a better place because of Robert and for that reason the world and us former Attachmate employees will miss him.

Lene & Family,
I just returned home from vacation and was shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Robby. I had not seen him since he had paid me a surprise visit at the pharmacy where I was working in Boulder Montana in 1994. We went out to dinner that evening and had a great time. Little did I know that that would be the last time I’d see him.
I went to high school with Robby and had many good times in his company. With him and many of our mutual friends we went skiing, swimming, boating, and camping together. Unfortunately the years passed by and I lost contact with him. I will miss him and his smile.

Lene, Kevin and Doug,
I am so sorry to hear about Robbie.
I've known Robbie since we were little kids. Even though our lives grew apart, I will never forget the times we spent in class, or just driving in "Sally Suburu", and so many more unforgettable times we enjoyed together. Even as we grew up we still had time to hang out, like when we were trying to decide on which chair lift to ride, going out at 6:00am dressed in his business suit to take me water skiiing, or when we just talked to catch up on our lives.
Doug and Kevin, I loved Robbie like he was my own brother. The days will not be the same without him, but he will always be close: Skiing's just not going to be the same. I will miss my friend "Rowdy Bob" Satterwhite!

My husband and I were very saddened by the news of Robbie's death.
Robbie became part of our family, playing and wrestling with my two sons Phillip and Ronald.
His mother was such a good friend, always ready to help out in our great neighborhood of Southgate. I remember she even lent me $20, so I could feed my children when my husband started a new job.
Robbie was just like his mother, generous and easy going. A great and very nice young boy while we knew him in grade school.
0ur heart goes out to Kevin and Douglas.

Robbie and I lived in the same neighborhood, Southgate, from 1969 to 1976 when we moved to University Place. We were good friends, along with my brother Ron. I have many fond memories of playing with Robbie, especially in the summer we would play sports until it got dark.
I always wondered what became of my friend Robbie and wished I could have known him in adulthood. It sounds like his life was wonderful and productive albeit way too short. I was very saddened reading of his death in the newspaper.

I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. I knew Robert first at Attachmate and many ski trips (while supposidly sick from work) up to the pass with the gang. I alway remember how happy he was on the slopes, how quick he was to flash a smile and just a very genuine person to be around. I hope you find comfort in knowing he touched many peoples live on his very short journey here.

Robert was a great person. He was funny and smart and was always fun to be around. I dont remember anyone ever being mad at Robert. He was always very approachable and honest. When you talked with him whether you were his best friend or someone that he had just met you always felt like he really listened to you and was interested in what you were saying. He will be missed. My best to Lene and Robert's family and close friends. [I was friends with him through working with him at Attachmate.]

Dear Lene & Family,
I have known Robert since '92 when I transfered here to the Northwest with Attachmate and moved to Bellevue, WA from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was one of my first Systems Engineers at Attachmate and with his skill, knowledge and passion for technology he was always able to pass that passion on to our customers which contributed to all our success in the Northwest. He always had a smile for everyone he met and was always fun to be with. I will miss him and I know he will be truly missed by many others. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of his family.

Dear Lene,
I am so sorry for your loss, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. I got to know Robert many years ago while working at Attachmate together. One fond memory was traveling to Vegas on a biz trip with Robert and a few other folks from work. We were all down at the slot machines, everyone was playing their coins except for me. Robert gave me $10 and told me to get my butt out there and win some money. Well, within minutes I won $150. I gave Robert his $10 back plus a few bucks more, told the gang I was calling it a night, cashed in and called it good. Robert was always giving, that's just who he was. You could always count on a kind word, a bright smile and lots of laughter with Robert around. He will be missed but you have so many wonderful memories of your years together, please draw on those during this time as they will give you enormous comfort. Remember, Robert will always be with you just look into your heart. With deepest sympathies.

All of our memories of Robbie are fond ones. He was such a witty, fun-loving, intelligent guy.
Our last written correspondence with him, was the "Legend of the Fall." A perfect example of Robbie's quirky humor.
We'll never forget the fun times at the Beach House, or the GC. Robbie - You can have our boat bumpers now.:o)
We will definitely miss you and our condolences to everyone else who had the pleasure to know you and be in your life.

I worked with Robert at Attachmate. Robert had a sharp mind and enjoyed taking on difficult work challenges. You could always depend on him. Robert also knew how to have fun and he always made sure everyone around him was a part of it. He had a terrific balance between the two that is seldom seen.
Working with Robert was a personal and professional highlight in my career. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry you are experiencing this horrible grief in losing Robert. My heart is with you and you will long be in my prayers for healing and peace. Someone told me once right after losing my brother that "The edges do get smoother." I clung to that hope at the time, and we all who lost him found it to be true as time went on...the edges did get smoother. Know that you have loving family and friends who will be beside you as you walk this path today, next week, and always.
Love, Caryn
