I was very lucky to have had such wonderful grandparents. They were always happy to see us!! Grandpa would play hide and seek and tag with us. We would run races in the front yard. If he wasn't winning, he'd grab who ever was, and put them behind him and laugh and laugh while he won. He was always young at heart. When I got older, and had my own children, he played with them too. I remember he'd play hide and seek with Alex. He'd talk to Alex to get him to give away where he was. He'd laugh. Once Alex took off his socks and lay them on the floor under grandmas end table. Grandpa tip-toed around the corner, saw the socks and made a mad dash to them , grabbed them saying 'Got ya' He laughed when he realized it was only socks-no kid. One of my favorite memories. He was a great guy! Grandpa I miss you. Kiss and hug grandma and Jeff for me.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Westbrook. We were neighbors for a few years. He was a very nice man and I'm sure he will be missed. His son Bob and I were friends.

He was always such a gentleman. I enjoyed dancing with him.May he rest in Paradise.
