Ruth Resch Obituary

Ruth Resch Died peacefully on Sunday, April 16, at the home of her daughter, Billie. She was born November 13, 1919, in Tacoma, living there until 2001, when she moved to Bainbridge Island. Ruth graduated from Stadium High in 1937 and married William Resch in 1941. They spent 56 happy years together, raising three daughters. Ruth loved dancing, card playing and trips to Hawaii. After Willie's death in 1997, she soldiered on, bravely dealing with Parkinson's disease and blindness. But now she's with Willie. Ruth is survived by her daughters Veronica (Lee) Kaiss, Marianne (Dick) Rabel, and Billie Nash, eight grand-children, and four great-grandsons. She also leaves sisters-in-law Josephine Resch, Mary Murphy, Jenny Olson, Aggie Mullan, and Krys Lentz, and brothers-in-law Dick Hudson and Mitch Mullan, many nieces and nephews, and good friends that span her whole lifetime. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Nelson. Her funeral will be at Thursday, April 20, at 11:00, at the Evergreen Chapel of New Tacoma Cemetary. Donations can be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave, Bob Hope Road, Miamia FL 33136.
