I give thanks for Shelly's gifts, humor, teaching skills and friendship while at the University of Puget Sound. I remain impressed with his adeptness at playing noon-time basketball with many of us faculty and staff colleagues! As retired University Chaplain I feel blessed that he was a part of my life and I express my sympathies to Carol and all your family members.

Professor Frankel taught me the complexities of the federal tax structure the first year he came to the University of Puget Sound Law School. He was an excellent instructor and will be missed.
