Vernon Ader Obituary
April 18, 1929 - April 7, 2022
Port Orchard, Washington - Vernon passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family. He is survived by four children, Mark Ader, Glenn Ader, Gail Carlson, and Linda Ader. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was employed by Foss Launch and Tug for 44 years, primarily as a tugboat skipper. He was one of the best. He also served in the USCG. He had a great love of fishing and the sea. He enjoyed playing cribbage and in earlier years dancing. Vernon loved life and made the most of it. His family and friends will sorely miss him.
Vernon will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
