Virginia Bell Obituary

Virginia Lucille Bell

May 1, 1933 - January 8, 2025

Orting, Washington - In Loving Memory of Virginia Lucille Bell.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Virginia Lucille Bell, on January 8, 2025. Virginia was a source of joy and love to everyone who knew her, and her warm presence will be deeply missed.

Born on May 1, 1933, to George and Irene Clark, Virginia grew up surrounded by love and family. On May 5, 1950, she married her "sweetie", Burley Bell, and together they built a beautiful life, raising five children: Susan, Mark, Matthew Clay, John Clark, and Clinton.

Virginia and Burley made their home in Orting, Washington, where they devoted themselves to their family and community. A dedicated homemaker, Virginia poured her heart into raising her children and supporting Burley in his electrical business. She also played an essential role in the Orting Fire Department, assisting with calls during Burley's time as a volunteer firefighter.

After Burley's retirement, Virginia embarked on a new chapter, working at Safeway for 15 years before retiring. She treasured spending time with her friends at the Senior Center, sharing laughter and memories with her family, and listening to Danny Vernon perform her favorite Elvis songs.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Bell; her son, John Clark Bell; her sisters, Ona Kirk Brown and Ila Asher; and her brother, Vern Clark. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Susan (David) Harman, Mark Bell, Matthew Clay Bell, Rhonda Bell (John Clark Bell's surviving spouse), and Clinton Bell. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Melissa (Jeff) Gray, Adam (Bianca) Harman, Justin Harman (Truc Cao), Courtney Bell, Britney (Ty) Drew, Austin Bell, Drew (Marshall) Bell Marquez, Brandon (Renae) Bell, and 16 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

A celebration of Virginia's life will be held on January 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Orting Lions Club. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join us as we honor her remarkable life and legacy.

We belong to the Orting Senior Center and remember her as a friend of Bunky´s. They were part of the laughing table. We enjoyed how much fun they had and their laughter. Ray and Gayle Sneesby
