WALLACE SWARTHOUT Obituary

Wallace Reed Swarthout 6/15/43 - 9/24/15 Wally went home with our Lord after a long and courageous battle with two types of cancer. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 40 years, Suzan, sons Troy and Bernie, and stepsons Charles (Gloria) and Lonnie Brimer, as well as brothers Norman of Homosassa, FL and James (Shari) of Yuma, AZ, and sister Kathryn (Gerald ) Pocan of Eaton Rapids, MI. Also, step-brother Thomas Levendoski and step-sister Judy Robins, both of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Lucille Swarthout, and brothers Burnus and Larry. Wally worked as a commercial carpenter for Lincoln Construction of Spanaway for many years prior to his illness. He loved the Mariners, Seahawks, Detroit Tigers and Lions, as well as golf. He especially loved to play golf with special friends over the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. An open-house reception is planned for Oct. 3 between 1pm and 4pm to celebrate the life of the man we all loved. I hope to see you.
