He retired in 1999 as the Chief of Staff at Madigan Army Medical Center. Bill's accomplishments are far too numerous to mention, but some of which he and his family are most proud are as follows. Bill was my mentor, my boss and more importantly, my friend. My world will be a sadder place without him. He gave much to many and so much to me. Rest in peace, my friend...thank you.
