Glenda Seal Obituary
Glenda M. Seal, 72, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, Indiana. She was born on July 23, 1953, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Glenn Alvin Cathcart and Erma Lou Napier.
Glenda was a 1971 graduate of Fairdale High School in Louisville, Kentucky. On July 3, 1976, she married the love of her life, Jerry D. Seal, in Crothersville, Indiana. They were blessed with 49 wonderful years together, and Jerry survives in Crothersville.
Glenda dedicated her career to the Indiana Department of Transportation, where she served as the Customer Service Manager. She was known for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for others.
With a heart for service and sisterhood, Glenda was a proud member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Theta Nu chapter, for 21 years. During her time there, she served as a president, state officer, and national officer, and had just recently become a life member. She cherished the friendships, memories, and community she found within her sorority.
Glenda's greatest joy was her family. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, going to sorority conventions, shopping, and cheering loudly for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Her loving spirit, sense of humor, and warm smile will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Seal of Crothersville; three children, Jennifer (Greg) Parker of Whiteland, IN, Jeremy Seal of Seymour, IN, and Chris (Deb) Seal of Seymour, IN; and four treasured grandchildren, Elsie Seal, Byron Parker, Brittney Parker, and Hali Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rodger Cathcart.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Randy King at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 24, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. A special rose ceremony held by the Phi Beta Psi Sorority will take place at 1:00 PM.

Glenda will be remembered for her generous heart, dedication to her family and community, and the love she shared so freely.
