Patsy Hall

Patsy (Gilbert) Hall, 82, of Brownstown, died surrounded by her family at 6:50 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Hoosier Christian Village. She was a very active member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Clearspring High School. Patsy was the secretary at Brownstown Elementary School for over 30 years. She was a 4-H Leader and a Girl Scout Leader. She loved to cook, bake and spend time with her family.

Patsy was born on June 26, 1936 in Jackson County to the late Stanley "Bill" and Frankie (Cockerham) Gilbert. On June 19, 1954 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, she married Charles "Allen" Hall and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include her children, Becky Gillaspy of Seymour, Cathy (Gary) Hackman of Vallonia, and Barry (Tami) Hall of Medora; granchildren, Daphne Waskom, Matt (Kelley) Gillaspy, Angie (Paul) Rennekamp, K.C. (Melissa) Hackman, Jodi (Ben) Tiemeyer, Dave (Bradie) Hall, Mark (Jessica) Gillaspy, Dirk Smith, Ashley (Dusty) Kiser, & Michelle (Rich) Autry; great grandchildren, Brady & Caden Waskom, Brianna, Emma, & Burke Gillaspy, Paulton & Anniston Rennekamp, Kinlee, Kyler, & Kamdyn Hackman, Jalen, Kiernan, & Quentin Tiemeyer, Hayden, Sydney, & Gabriella Hall, Cash, Gracie, & Gretta Gillaspy, Jairdyn & Jolea Kiser, Lee & Dean Autry; a brother, Jack Gilbert of Medora and a sister, Margie Cummings of Medora.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Mary Ann Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Medora with Jack Suits and Jay Hebard officiating. Friends may call at Mt. Zion Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 27th from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown Christian Athletes (FCA) or Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
