Vickie Gilbert Obituary
Born October 23, 1950 in Seymour, Indiana, Vickie was the daughter of the late Edward and Lula (Morgan) Lawson.
Vickie was a member of Central Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, crossword puzzles and collecting bird keepsakes. She especially enjoyed the company of her special dog, Trixie.
She is survived by her sister, Lillie (Tim) Kramer; nieces, Tiffani (Toby) Calhoun, Kinsi (Isaiah) Gilbert, Suzzanna Kramer, Jennifer Kramer and Stephany (Donnie) Goodpasture; nephews, Toby (Jennifer) Lawson, Trent (Breann) Lawson and Kyle Kramer; great nieces, Maggie Calhoun, Kailey Lawson, Katelyn McCammon and Sophia Shumard; great nephews, Myles Calhoun, Trevor Lawson, Malachi Acree and Ayden Gilbert.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Tim Lawson.
Visitation will take place from 10 am -12 pm, Monday, November 3, 2025 at Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 316 S. Chestnut Street, Seymour. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Tyler Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Vallonia Cemetery.
The family invites those who wish to express their condolences to consider making a donation in Vickie's name to the Jackson County Humane Society 1109 W. Avenue G, Seymour, IN 47274.
