Jacquelyn Smith "Jackie" Henning

HENNING - Jacquelyn "Jackie" Smith Henning, 85, of Woodbine, Ga., passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.?
Born Jan. 25, 1940, Jackie was the daughter of the late W.E. "Willie" and Jackie (Baptiste) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Smith.
Jackie attended Camden County High School, then Sacred Heart College in Charlotte, N.C. After moving back to Camden County, she dedicated many years of service to Camden County's Planning and Development Office before her retirement.
She was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures – her garden, her beloved animals, and above all, her family.
Jackie was the proud mother of four sons, Harry "Chip" Henning III of Panama City, Fla., William "Bill" Henning of St. Simons Island, Scott (Alysha) Henning of White Oak, and Brian (Crystal) Henning of Yulee, Fla. She was also blessed with six grandchildren and one great-grandson who brought her great joy.
Jackie will be remembered for her sharp wit, strong spirit and deep love for her boys.
A visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Allison Memorial Chapel Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Homeward Cemetery in Waverly, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Dawson Finn, CJ Henning, Grant Henning, Caleb Henning, Hudson Henning, Ben Jordan and Kelly Rose Henning. 
Honorary pallbearers are Celeste McCullough, Lisa Morris, Lisa McVicker, Hattie Green, Teresa Cisneros, Kay Proctor, Ann Sydnor and Connie Rawl. 
Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
