Leonor Altamirano Obituary
She was fondly known as Norie or Mommy Nor. She was born March 18, 1947, in Lipa City, Philippines, to Solomon and Melecia Estolano Templo.
Mommy Nor lived a life filled with so much love and affection for her family, relatives and friends. She loved ballroom dancing and will always be seen dancing during family gatherings. She was kindhearted and never sowed resentment or held grudges against anyone. She was a very religious woman.
Mommy Nor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Angelito Altamirano; son, Allan Altamirano; granddaughter, April Altamirano; and two siblings, Carmelita Basco and Nelson Templo.
She is survived by her children, Arnold Altamirano (Helen) and Apple Dino (Daniel); six grandchildren, Arnold Jr. and Leah Altamirano, Aaron and Aerika Dino, and Angel Garcia and AJ Altamirano; one great-grandchild, Anika Garcia; and six siblings, Aurora Castillo, Roberto Templo, Lee Francis Templo, Solomon Templo Jr., Emma Roldan and Jessie Templo.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
A little celebration will follow after the service.
